| Farm Price started in 2004 when it was awarded a supply contract to deliver fresh vegetables to the Giant Hypermarket in Tampoi, Johor. By 2006, Farm Price began to export fresh vegetables to supermarkets in Singapore. Since then, the business has grown over 100 times from its first year turnover to million per annum. After venturing into global market, Farm Price’s workforce has increased from 80 to 150 pax and its logistics capacity from 8 to 25 trucks. The factory space has expanded from one small unit shoplot to two blocks building on a 2-acre industrial land. The new workplace is able to accomodate a cold storage facility that can store 25 units of 40 ft containers at one time and several units of sophisticated processing cold rooms that can generate output capacity of at least 40mts processed vegetables daily. This huge investment makes Farm Price an industry leader in Johor and eventually in Malaysia. |
